Yule-Nisse

Yule-Nisse is located on Yomase ski area,which is in the northern part of Nagano pref.Japan. Our hotel is on the foot of Mt.takayashiro.It’s famous for its great ski resort and spa. By car,its only ten minutes from Yudanaka St.or only twenty minutes from Nakano I.C. There’re a lot of places to visit;The wild-monkey park of Jigokudani,Siga Hights.

has variety of ski slopes in winter,During summer our many of guests enjoy tennis around this area.All year around blessing the land of mountain foot is covered with many of fruit farm,buckwheat farm,rice field,and lots of ferbs on the mountain.You could stay and relax watching beautiful scenery with remaining Japanese agricultural field and also night scenes of Nagano.

Kan-etsu Express way to Fujioka JCT,then change to Joshinetsu Express way,go through Koshoku JCT.(approx.202km) and continue in the Joetsu direction.
Get off at Shinshu Nakano IC (28km),take Route 403.

From Osaka / Kansai area

Meishin Express way to Nagoya Komaki JCT,then change to chuo Express way (approx.177km),take Nagano Express way at Okaya JCT,then change to Joshinetsu Express way at Koshoku JCT and continue in the Joetsu direction.
Get off at Shinshu Nakano IC (28km),take Route 403.

Jigokudani Wild Monkey Park

This may be the only place in the world where wild monkeys bathe in natural hot spring water.Vistors can obuserve closely many wild monkeys (Nihon Zaru) fed by the park rangers.It is a more than pleasant scene seeing parent and child monkeys sitting in the hot spa,warming up and washing apples and eating them.

Zenkoji Zenkoji Temple is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Japan. One of the oldest Buddhist images is housed in its main hall.

Obuse Traditional chestnuts confectionery shops stand on the main street. The Hokusai Art Museum exhibits the paintings of Katsushika Hokusai,the Ukiyoe painter.

KITA-SHIGAKOGEN HTS

Kita-Shiga Kogen is located in the vast area comprised between Mt.Kosha-san(Takaifuji),where wide oreberd farms spread in the foothills,Mt.Ryuosan and Mt.Komaruyama,where vegetable fields and farms show their peaceful scenery.It contains four areas:Ryuo,Komaruyama,Takaifuji and Yomase Spa.Visitors can enjoy the abundance of mountain vegetables and Soba(buckwheat)noodles.The area is renowned for "Minshuku",a homely Japanese style inn. Its people have handed down their traditional performances such as "Bonjamono Dance",local cuisine,handmade Soba and a wide variety of bamboo crafts.Recently, up-to-date lodges and hotels have been constructed around four big ski areas.It is becoming more popular among young people as a mecca for various sports and summer music camps.
The very popular Ryuo Ropeway to Mt.Ryuosan carries 166 people at one time and gives a spectacular view on the way and at the top.
